Golden Hour Adventures In The Golden Desert of Huacachina

Elijah Solidum November 14, 2019

Few things come close to a good desert sunset. There is something about the way the light melts over the dunes, creating shadow games that are enchanting to watch. The desert oasis of Huacachina was somewhere that I had already visited, but long before photography had become a passion of mine. Although I planned to do absolutely nothing during my time there, I was giddy at the thought of my first time in the desert since getting a proper camera. The sun, sand, shadows, and wispy silhouettes at sunset made for a stark change from the mountains I had been used to shooting for the last few months in Huaraz and northern Peru.
